Prior to founding Success Facets coaching in Atlanta, Jeff Smith began his business life in sales before going on to law school and becoming a trial and business lawyer for seven years. He was then recruited into the corporate world and, after completing his MBA degree, he held a number of senior executive positions including Senior Vice President of Human Resources, Chief Marketing Officer, and General Counsel for several large publicly traded companies, including Cincinnati Bell Inc.
With over thirty years of business experience and having owned and operated five businesses, Jeff has worked in very small entrepreneurial companies as well as large public companies. He has managed departments ranging in size from 1 to over 500 employees and has held positions in Human Resources, Sales, Finance, Marketing, IT, Planning and Business Development, Legal, and Administration. He has completed over one hundred mergers, acquisitions and divestitures of public and private domestic and international companies, conducted business in over 120 countries worldwide, completed thousands of complex agreements and dispute resolutions, trained developed and coached multiple teams and thousands of employees and led companies through periods of both high growth and economic downsizing.
As a Board Certified Business & Executive Coach Jeff works with both business owners and senior executives to expand their strategic thinking, improve their leadership skills, maximize their personal and professional development, remove roadblocks, and implement solutions for success.
