Types of Coaching

We are certified in and utilize Business, Executive, Life and Strategic Intervention coaching. What are the different types of coaching and what are the differences between them?

Business Coaching

Two men shaking hands after successfully navigating the business world. They've become more confident through business coaching provided by Success Facets Business Coaching in Atlanta GA.

Business Coaching

provides education, support, feedback, and advice on an individual or group basis to improve the personal effectiveness in the business setting relating to planning, sales, marketing, customer service, profitability, finance, time management, team development, leadership and systems development.

Executive Coaching

A woman sits at a table with her mutli ethnic colleagues. She is smiling and holding her glasses. She's confident that she'll be a good leader for her team at work because of Executive coaching from Jeff Smith Atlanta Business Coach.

Executive Coaching

provides education, support, feedback, and advice to improve personal effectiveness in interpersonal and professional communications and relationships, performance management, organizational effectiveness, managing career and personal changes, developing executive presence, enhancing strategic thinking, dealing effectively with conflict, and building strong teams within the organization. Executive coaching focuses on developing leadership capabilities and achieving strategic organizational results in a proactive fashion. It focuses on goal setting, performance, career development, leadership, vision, and strategy.

The aim is to change behavior in order to alter results. It helps leaders achieve positive, lasting change in behavior for themselves, their people and their teams.

Today’s executives are as much about identity and motive as they are about action. Not only are executives concerned about the outcome and the results, but they also care about the people they lead and how they lead them. By continuing their own self-development, they also promote the growth of their people, thus empowering them to become more responsible and accountable.

Change is at the heart of any coaching process. Executive Coaching plays an all-encompassing role when it comes to helping executives and teams to create, adapt to and accept change as a challenge rather than a hurdle.

Life Coaching

A group of young professionals meet outside of work to discuss their life's goals. One man is smiling and informing the others of his new sense of direction and meaning thanks to Life Coaching provided by Success Facets Life Coaching program with Jeff Smith.

Life Coaching

Life Coaching is a powerful change process that helps people design and implement their future rather than getting over their past.   Life coaching, unlike pure business coaching, takes the whole-person perspective on any client who comes for coaching.  People don’t live their lives in boxes of work, health, finances, relationships, spirituality, personal growth, leisure, family, continuing education, etc.  Whatever is going on in one aspect of their lives impacts other areas of their life.  Clients ’ wants may include doubling their income, resolving a conflict with an employee, enhancing intimacy with their spouse, creating a positive relationship with their teenager, leaving a legacy, planning for retirement, or re-balancing their lives.  Life coaching assists the person in figuring out multiple pathways to achieve what they want.

Strategic Intervention Coaching

Two men shaking hands after successfully navigating the business world. They've become more confident through business coaching provided by Success Facets Business Coaching in Atlanta GA.

Strategic Intervention Coaching

Strategic Intervention Coaching is dedicated to utilizing the most practical and effective forms of strategic action and communication from a variety of disciplines including Erickson therapy, strategic family therapy, Human Needs Psychology, organizational psychology, neurolinguistics, psychology of influence, strategic studies, traditions of diplomacy, negotiation, game theory and others.  The term “Strategic Intervention” was coined by Tony Robbins, Cloe Madanes, and Mark Peysha to describe their change work and the Robbins Madanes training center trains and certifies Strategic Intervention Coaches.  The goal is to develop practical methods for taking action to get things done and to elevate and fulfill human needs.

Strategic Intervention coaching empowers clients to take action daily to bring about change in their lives.  All people have the power to overcome the negative patterns and beliefs in their lives that keep them from reaching their goals and feeling fulfilled.  You can expect to gain clarity, action and progress towards your goals and learn more about yourself and how to be more effective with the relationships in your life.  In business, Strategic Intervention is being used by business owners, leaders, entrepreneurs and executives to manage relationships, create understanding, develop personal responsibility, build effective teams, and develop higher standards for achievement.

What’s the difference between a Coach and a Mentor?

Mentoring in an informal transmission of knowledge and support perceived by the recipient as relevant to their work, career, or professional development.

Coaching is a form of personal development where the coach utilizes specific skills, education, methodologies and strategies to support the client in achieving specific personal or professional goals.

Coaching differs from mentoring in focusing on specific tasks or objectives to achieve goals, as opposed to general development.
